p"... Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:18-20.

Transformation of Man: Carnal to Spiritual man

Even after a person recieves the Lord Jesus into his life, he may not be spiritual yet because he is still living according to his fleshly, old nature. The self is still on the throne, in control. So the lifstyle is characterised by the worldly attitudes and actions as we can see in the first illutration given below.

Once he experiences self death and truly new life of Christ, he becomes a spiritual man which happens when Christ is given the center place of his life and is on the throne of his heart. The resulting change in attitudes and actions are clearly evident as those of a spiritual man, as ilustrated in the second picture below.

The discipling process involves this aspect of life, helping saved believers to become totally transformed into spiritual people so they can be useful to make others disciples. Gdo can not use an unredeemed man as one can not use an unclean vessel. This involves step by step ministry to the saved but carnal, baby-like believers in chanigng them into mature, reproduing disciples of the Lord Jesus who are ready to make others disciples too. Amen.
